As a dreamer, geek, and human, I love the Arts. I was given the opportunity to work collaboratively on some projects, and create others from scratch, from 3D to Video Pre/Post and filming Production:
This photo-shoot took place on a one way bus trip in the city of Tijuana, the purpose of which was to grab the most descriptive frames out of the whole trip. This is what I got:
This is a map of the route the bus took me ( Thanks to Google Maps):

This Painting was done in Photoshop. The main idea behind the project was to represent dreams:
This photorealistic room was made possible by taking pictures of a real room. I had to measure the whole structure and take a sample of the lightning with a light-probe. Once in my modeling software (Lightwave) I started by recreating the room structure (thanks to my measurement precautions this was an easy task) then I positioned 4 cameras in each top corner of the room (in the exact same position i took them) and I set them to projection mode.
Once the room had the right texture in the rooms, I had to manually adjust the tiles in the floor (you will notice it’s far from perfect) and I added some old models I had in my library to test the render and give some volume and hopefully perspective. The end result is this short video:
The concept behind this Robot Scorpion was to polish my modeling techniques. The project took around 30 days to complete and I spend most of my nights on google looking for reference images of robots and real scorpions. I had nightmares with those things, the final renders are shown below:
Water Bottle
This was one of my first modeling assignments. The main goal was to create a smooth surface:
This short-film was completed in 4 months, with a budget of $100 USD, a team of 10 people and 2 real actors that let us hire them almost free. The story is based on a duel. The main idea was to talk people into creating their own interpretation of what they just experienced. My main role in this film was to lead the post production (don’t forget to check the credits!):

This video was made out of a political joke. Mexico was facing a rough time when two political candidates where fighting for power. As the real geeks we are, we knew one of them was evil and compared him to the Dark Emperor from the Star Wars films. We placed some cool music in it, just for fun. My role in this project was to add the light sabers and the force power, as well as “acting” if thats what that is:
